I have been blessed to teach grades 7 and 8 at St. John Lutheran School since 2019. Graduating from Martin Luther College in 2019, I received my license and degrees in Elementary Education and Secondary Social Studies Education. In my classroom, I work to foster my students’ personal and educational growth, preparing them for high school and beyond, all in the light of God’s Word.

Born in Nebraska and raised in Wisconsin, I call Marshfield, WI my home town, where my parents still live. I have a younger sister and a younger brother, who also live in Wisconsin.

I am married to the love of my life, Kali, who teaches preschool at Samuel Lutheran School in Marshall, MN. Also a Wisconsin native, she grew up just outside of Oconomowoc, WI. Together, we happily share our home and life here in Redwood Falls. In our free time, we love travelling and planning trips, exploring the outdoors, camping, and going out on the lake.

In our classroom, we challenge ourselves to aspire for our best work, looking at things from different viewpoints. We inquire and ask questions about different topics, prepare ourselves for the next steps in our lives, and view the world as mission field, ready to live our best lives under Christ.
